Christopher Washington, a Managing Director, Academics on our Learning team, caught the education bug early in his academic career. He spent the last decade before joining Noodle working in higher education.

Allison Nugent, Noodle’s first Chief People Officer, never planned to work in Human Resources. Allison initially planned a career as an engineer. Still, after her first job with an engineering company in Canada, where she was constantly pushed to answer the phones instead of going underground to do the engineering work with her male colleagues, she decided to pursue another path.

Managing Director, Enrollment Management Services, Raul A. Vazquez is experienced in operations and strategy within the higher education management space. He is skilled in training and development, as well as developing outreach strategies and systems. Raul is a graduate of Bridgewater State University with a BS in Business Management.

Director of Compliance Vanessa Bell has nearly a decade’s experience in data privacy law, data security, and regulatory compliance within the higher education space. She is a graduate of both Florida State University with a BS in Economics and the Florida International University School of Law. Vanessa is licensed to practice law in Florida, New York, and Washington, D.C.

Three of Butler University's online graduate degree programs: Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Science in Strategic Communication (MSSC), and Master of Science in Data Analytics (MSDA) are now open for enrollment. The programs are accepting applications for spring 2022.

Student Affairs Lead Demetrice Smith joined Noodle with nearly 15 years’ experience in higher education. Prior to joining Noodle, she worked as a Student Success Director at Old Dominion University Online. She has also worked at University of North Carolina Greensboro in records and registration, student success, and academic advising. Demetrice currently resides in North Carolina.

Prior to joining Noodle in 2019, Director of Operations Todd Hill-Jones served for three years as Policy and Research Program Manager at the Urban Institute’s Housing Finance Policy Center in Washington, D.C., where he directed all aspects of the center’s high-profile research initiatives.

Before joining Noodle, Sydney McCann worked within the ed-tech space at Instructure for four years in order to implement the online programs of higher education universities. During that time, Sydney helped Instructure break through to the Canadian higher education market and build up their data warehouse offerings.

After earning a Bachelor Degree in International Relations at Brown University, Noodle Senior Vice President, Partnerships Vinay Ganti went on to achieve a law degree at the New York University of Law and an MBA at the NYU Stern School of Business.

Stevens Institute of Technology, a premier research and technology-centric university in Hoboken, N.J., is continuing its collaboration with Noodle, the fastest growing online learning network in the country, to further broaden its offerings of online classes at the master's level.

As a young boy, Kevin Phang emigrated from Burma to the United States with his family.
